Hiding Places[ | ]

The only place that the Sawfish can hide in is the Giant Shipwreck.

Strategies[ | ]

Try to get a lot of free hits and shake a bit when facetanking to increase damage from the saw. Baiting boosts is also helpful in 1v1's if your opponent has a highly damaging ability. Don't shake the saw while chasing someone. This does deal more damage from the saw, but it also actually slows you down and makes it easier for your prey to escape.

Also, skins that make you smaller, such as queensland sawfish or sixgill sawshark, also decrease the size of your saw. This can lead to you dealing less damage in facetanks. If you normally use sawshark for the biome changer, it can be helpful to switch to largetooth sawfish or even just the default sawfish skin when playing Pearl Defense or 1v1. This is usually not really necessary, though.

Skins[ | ]

Realistic skins can be used at every time of the year. They are mostly based on real-life species or adjectives such as 'Battle-Scarred' or 'Dark'.
