- Japanese spider crabs do not evolve into any other animals, as they are a top tier animal.
- Japanese spider crabs drop meat upon death.
- As a Japanese spider crab, friendly fire is turned off for all tier 1 animals, Crabs, King Crabs and Hermit Crabs meaning you cannot damage them nor be damaged by them.

Strategy[]
- Your web-sling ability lets you easily traverse through the arctic and the deep, which depending on the map you're in, can have lots of terrain, or next to none.
- Your main prey should be non-tank opponents that are susceptible to bleed damage.
- Do not overuse your web-sling ability for offense, rather use it to grapple to large patches of food or algae, to recover your health.
- You are not buoyant, but you can use this to your advantage when your prey is moving down; your non-buoyancy will move you faster than the animal.
