Abilities[ | ]

Name Image Charge Time Description
Mud Boost TBA TBA Charge your boost to gain +%150 speed, and emit mud when you move around, which slows down any animal that goes in it except yourself and your teammates (TFFA/PD) Upon hitting an animal that you don't instantly kill, the mud trail you left behind detonates, dealing 100 damage. Mud trails disappear after a while.

Hiding Places[ | ]

The only place that the Halibut can hide in is the Giant Shipwreck.

Strategy[ | ]

  • Your health is not that high when compared to others, don't face-tank without your ability.
  • Your charged boost will help you get farther than a regular one.
  • Your mud detonation stacks with your boost damage, dealing around 275 damage. Use this to your advantage.
  • Mud trails detonate upon passing above the surface of the water, though this isn't very useful, it could be used situationally to finish off an opponent.
  • Mud trails also detonate if you boost normally.

Skins[ | ]

The halibut as of december of 2023 has a total of 21 skins. With 9 of these being Realistic, 5 of these being Unrealistic and 7 being Seasonal.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The halibut's ability is slightly based off the real-life fact that the halibut is a ground fish, meaning it usually stays at sea beds, which consists of mud and sand. It is also based off the mud skipper. *
